World Cup Monkey
Brazil. The good the bad and the ugly
When we stand in April knowing that in two months the fascinating world tournament begins, you can not avoid an internal bet. Gambling is a sense of inner vision that exists in every football fan, when a tournament is opening. Any soccer fan wants to be original and make a statement that makes him perceived as "unique", but sometimes there is no escaping banality, history, and things you might think that won’t leave the world until it comes to destruction, in short there is no escape from Brazil. |
When Dunga began the tournament in his first Copa America in Venezuela in 2007, the same people that raised an eyebrow just received confirmation of his doubts at the beginning of the tournament. Dunga's team is reminiscent of his great character, aggressive, determined, but not really dancing, just don’t. Brazilians did not know how to dance is the equivalent of Polish who can’t complain.
The Good
Brazilian national team the most balanced and healthy team of all teams. The Brazilian backfield quartet includes players like Lucio and Maicon, and it can be compared to the superb quartet of England’s backfield. BMF is run by Gilberto Silva along side Anderson, a child brought up by Sir Alex the Great. Kaka and Robinho occupy the center of the field and in the attacking force you can find Lewis Fabiano Pato.
The Brazilian national team is the only one which you won’t find weak point mark in. Players in all positions are the highest-level players, and beyond that are stable, or in short, players who bring the goods.
Dunga's team is the only team whose staff changes were minor, a fact which adds the knowledge of players and stable relations, coordination and discipline conduct beyond any other team in the World Cup. Dunga tried to avoid players who aren’t professionals, and it seems that apart from Adriano No one gets the easy level discipline.
The Bad
Dunga's team is very reminiscent of the bad boy in the neighborhood. The same thug who gives you beating and takes all you’re money. In the last Copa America tournament Brazil met their nemesis, Argentina.
Brazil showed up at the game without big stars Kaka and Ronaldinho, facing Argentina who came with more stars than there are in the U.S.flag. The Brazilian national team pulverized Riquelme, annoyed messi, charged out on three massive attacks, scored three goals and reminded the world who is the greatest Viennese in South America.
In Dunga’s era Brazilian team is strong, stable, but beyond all bad. The Brazilian game is comparable to the Italian Inter, not just because they have more than three players in common, but the fact that they both aim to come put of each match with three points points, more than they come to entertain. The samba dance has turned violent and it comes to take a lot more than it came to give.
The Ugly
The ugly in this Brazilian team is a matter of perspective like everything in life. Brazilian team’s ugly is just in comparison to all teams who came before her. We as football fans will have to separate from all the dribbles and heels we loved to see .The ball will not pass from one foot to the other at a fast pace, we will miss Ronaldinho and watch the teams that replaced the dancers, and watch them dig their way in South Africa in the summer until they find gold.
